The mission of the Greenup County Health Department is to promote wellness in the individual and community and teach people simple ways to lead a healthier lifestyle.

The Greenup County Health Department has two offices. The main office is located on US 23 in Greenup. A smaller, satellite clinic is located in South Shore behind McDonald's Pharmacy. Select health services are offered here. 

We have a variety of preventative health programs for children and adults which ensure the ongoing good health of everyone in our community. The Health Department is a source of information and services for individuals and families who need assistance with medical care, nutritional counseling, health screenings, immunizations, family planning, environmental protection and disaster preparedness.
