Board of Health

The Greenup County Board of Health is composed of twelve residents of Greenup County. State law mandates the disciplines represented on the Board. These disciplines are a registered nurse, dentist, optometrist, engineer, veterinarian, pharmacist, consumer, and three physicians. The Greenup County Judge-Executive serves along with a fiscal court appointed representative. Each member serves a two-year term except the Judge-Executive who serves during his/her term in office. The Chairman of the Board is elected each year by the Board. The Board of Health meets quarterly and the meetings are open to the public.
