WIC is a
supplemental food and nutrition program that provides
nutritious foods and nutrition education to
participants. WIC serves pregnant, breastfeeding, and
postpartum women and children age birth through 5 years
of age who meet WIC income guidelines and have a
nutritional need identified through a WIC screening.
